Ali from the USA

My name is Ali and I am from the United States. I was born in California and attended University near Boston, Massachusetts.

I am helping to teach English at Can Coix with Nieves.

The American flag is red, white and blue.

Where I live the trees change color in the Fall. The United States is very big and very beautiful.

In November we have a feast called Thanksgiving and we eat turkey!

I am enjoying my time here in Ibiza, especially Can Coix and Sant Antoni!

Los erizos son unos mamíferos cubiertos de púas.

Hay dieciséis especies diferentes.

Son igual desde hace quince millones de años.

Hacen vida nocturna y se alimentan de insectos y no les gusta demasiado la grasa.

De día están metidos en sus madrigueras.

Cambian las púas al hacerse adultos y aún recien nacidos cuando descubren un olor nuevo, muerden el origen de éste y con su saliba lo pegan sobre sus púas, se cree que siguen este ritual para camuflarse de sus enemigos los buhos,los huronesy los zorros.

Se protegen haciéndose una bola ante el agresor .

Durante el invierno, hivernan, es decir se quedan como dormidos.
